Salon to Session Online
The # 1 reason stylists don’t get into the editorial side of hairdressing -they aren't clear on the pathway to achieve this. I’ve not only been backstage during Fashion Week, I survived it and it scaled my career because of it. In this course, I cover what it’s like to work in the session world. Covering all the key fundamentals needed for backstage styling and editorial work, building your portfolio, and finding your own aesthetic. What you’ll experience: Attend fashion weeks and shoots with confidence - Understand how to plan your career journey forward - How to approach a creative process and find their own aesthetic.
1-2-1 Education
Online or face to face, the choice is yours - this course is personalized for you. If you are looking to develop your skill sets and push your career to the next level, this course will help you forward. Karoliina will create a personalized education plan, suited to your ability and development needs.

Salon to Session Course (Part 1 & 2)
Wondering how to get work in fashion and the editorial side of hairdressing? This face-to-face course is all about how to work in the session world. Covering the key fundamentals needed for backstage styling and editorial work, building your portfolio, and finding your own aesthetic. It will give you key skills to surviving backstage in fashion week, as well as personal mentoring from Karoliina.
Note* Course must be completed in order. Students cannot move onto the next course without previous course work completed.

Day 1 -Techniques and Styling: 1st July |
Day 2 - Creative Process: 22nd July | 10am - 5pm

Karoliina has 32 years of experience within the industry and education. By creating KSHD education, Karoliina offers a platform where she can bring her wealth of knowledge directly to you. Sharing is caring right?! Here we offer education, from one to one sessions to group sessions. You can personalise your training programs as you wish or join virtual sessions on line, also a video course is an option if you prefer learning at your own leisure. About Karoliina
My Hairdressing career started age 15 and I have been fortunate enough to experience many of the Exciting avenues and opportunities within our industry. From behind the chair to management, then becoming a salon owner. My career has placed me on both sides of the camera, working on photoshoots. I have travelled the world working back stage with some of the biggest names in hair and fashion, like Guido Palau, Eugene Souleiman, Gary Gill and Anthony Turner and it’s allowed me the privilege of passing my experience on to others via teaching and education. Education is a huge part of who I am and as I have had such a fulfilling career, I now want to help others to go forward with theirs.
